We offer you a unique opportunity to travel with your bike to beautiful Georgia. Apart from biking in a pleasant and sunny autumn weather, you also get to enjoy the wonderful local nature, to swim in mountain lakes and waterfalls as well as to discover plenty of fantastic places you’ve never heard of.
Quite comfortable terrains en route – mostly gravel and asphalt roads – make it possible to participate even for those not biking too often, although it might be important to be in an average physical shape, for there will be quite challenging hills on the way.
Luggage, bags, supplies and equipment will be transported by the following truck. Accommodation and meals will be provided in guesthouses en route.
Bike rent: if you do not bring your own bike with you, you can rent one from our official partners in Georgia. We use only 1 class equipment, such as Cube, Kross etc. Bike renting should be discussed/arranged before ordering the trip.
We arrive to Tbilisi international airport in the afternoon. Our transfer brings us to the place where the route begins – Bakuriani skiing resort – through a very popular mountain pass, called Tskhratskaro (“Nine Waterfalls”). The highest point is located on 2465 m above the sea level, with alpine meadows and pine forests. The pass has got its name due to the amount of waterfalls located along the way.
We arrive to the first guesthouse, have dinner and rest.
Overnight in the guesthouse in Bakuriani.
Breakfast in the guesthouse. Today is the first biking day, and the route takes us to Borjomi – a famous balneological resort/town in the gorge of Kura river, where we have a possibility to taste local mineral waters, enjoy the breathtaking views of the Caucasian mountains and take a walk in Borjomi national park.

We’re passing by Atskuri fortress – an antique complex built by Alexander the Great. Upon our arrival to Akhaltsikhe we check in in the guesthouse and take a walk to the center of the town, where we will visit city’s most important landmark – Rabati castle, a middle-age architectural complex.

Breakfast in the guesthouse. Today is the day of a hard work. ALthough the distance is not that long, but we will mostly be cycling uphill, because today’s route takes us to Goderdzi mountain pass. Following an asphalt mountain path first and then gravel roads through ancient Georgian villages and settlements, where nothing has changed through the last couple of centuries, we will eventually arrive to alpine meadows of Goderdzi. Dinner in the guesthouse on the top of the mountain pass.

Breakfast in the guesthouse. Today we’re cycling down to the picturesque Khulo village – the center of the local commune. We will pass one of Georgia’s most beautiful lakes – The Green Lake, located on the highland.

Breakfast in the guesthouse. Today our route takes us through eternally green mountains of Ajara down to Batumi – a city by the Black sea coast, which is also the capital of Ajara region. On the way there we will visit the 20 meters high Makhuntseti waterfall and the Queen Tamar’s bridge, built back in the X century. And the last place to visit on our way will be Ajara wine-house, a truly authentic place, where we will get a chance to taste a fresh-made organic food and one of world’s best wines – Georgian. Here we can finally relax after our hard work. Our transfer picks us up and drives us to Batumi, where we check in in the hotel and can take a little walk in the city.
